Review of My Year in Reading for 2020

Though I spent the majority of my time at home 2020 wasn’t the best reading year for me. Not surprisingly, I found it harder to concentrate on reading and I spent more time than is usual for me watching TV (news, way too much news, plus lots of movies).

Since I’ve been working from home (I’m grateful for this and working from home isn’t all it’s cracked up to be), I’ve been without my typical bus commute to work, which has thrown off my reading schedule off.  Reading on the bus is my favorite place to read!

The highlight of my 2020 reading experience was my “Armchair Vacation” series, where I “visited” the sunshine state. I read a few books back-to-back that were set in or were about Florida. That was good fun!  I always love a project and it felt like an escape. Plus, I learned so much about Florida’s history and culture.  I’m planning on doing a similar “Armchair Vacation” reading series in 2021.

Here’s my review of my year in reading for 2020.

31 Total Books Read – A little lower than average for me.
